Description

The veins present in the lower limb have flaps that keep the one-way blood flow that moves towards the heart and stop its backflow. If these flaps are thin or damaged, then it can back up or pull the blood through the veins. Constant pulling induces the stretching, swelling of the vessel and result in varicose veins. Varicose veins are swelled, blue colored vessels flow just below the surface of the skin. It develops in legs and feet. Varicose veins tend to be inherited and grows with a person’s age. Varicose veins are common health disorder but do not create any difficulties.
